Softball's Danielle Kinley Selected to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team
Junior Danielle Kinley (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad) of the Penn State University softball team was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First Team the College Sports Information Director's of America (CoSIDA) office announced today (May 9). Softball's Ashley Esparza Named to All-Big Ten Team
Senior Ashley Esparza (San Pedro, Calif./San Pedro) of the Penn State University softball team was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team the conference office announced today (May 8). This is Esparza's fourth time on the All-Big Ten squad and third, Third Team selection. Senior Rebecca Bautista (Elk Grove, Calif./Elk Grove) received the Sportsmanship Award which is given to one player on each of the Big Ten schools. Read More >>

The Penn State University softball team (34-22, 6-12 Big Ten) played its final game of the season today (May 4) at Nittany Lion Field as the #6 University of Michigan (48-5, 18-2 Big Ten) came to town.
