Freshman Christina Morgart is a local State College product. She will be in her first season of collegiate fencing and looks to add important depth to the women's foil in 2007-08.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Morgart fenced for the Penn State Fencing Club and club head coach (and Nittany Lion assistant) Wes Glon. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas. Her sister Amanda matriculated at Penn State and another sister, Jen, is a professional dance/cheer coach and is a member of the Fire and ice All Stars. Morgart is a science major at Penn State with an anticipated focus in immunology.
