Sophomore Sarita Mizin comes to Penn State from The Fencing Exchange in Scranton, Pa. Mizin is a solid newcomer who will push the incumbents for a starting spot in the foil this year.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Mizin fenced for coach John Proctor at the Fencing Exchange. She won the 2006 Keystone State Games gold medal in women's U20 and took the silver in the women's open division. In 2007, she took the silver again the women's open division. An outstanding student, Mizin graduated from Abington Heights with honors and won both the Abington Women's Club and AP scholarships.
