Summer 2007: Vincent took part in the Charlotte Ultraswim, the Mid-Atlantic Senior Championships and U.S. Nationals over the summer. At Charlotte, he swam in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle as well as the 100 back and was also a part of the ninth place 400 free relay team. He swam in the 200 free at Mid-Atlantic Senior Championships and then swam in the 50 and 100 free and was on the 16th place 400 free relay team at U.S. Nationals.

2006-07: Vincent made a drastic improvement in his times in the sprint freestyle events and used that strong late-season performance to make his first trip to the NCAA meet, where he swam as part of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams. He was a part of both of those two teams that swam NCAA `B' times and scored points at Big Ten Championships. The 400 free relay team finished just .57 of a second short of an NCAA `A' automatic qualifying time. One the year, he had one first place finish, which came in a relay event, and he also had four second place finishes and two third places. His leadoff leg at NCAAs in the 200 free relay was the fastest 50 free of the year on the team and he also swam the third fastest times of the year on the team in both the 100 free and 100 back.
Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Was part of the second place 400 free relay team and the third place 400 medley relay team in the dual meet at West Virginia....Part of the third place 200 free relay team and the fourth place 400 free and 200 medley relay teams at the Clemson/Virginia/Virginia Tech/Penn State quad-meet....Placed eighth in the 100 free and was part of the second place 200 free relay and sixth place 200 medley relay team at the Purdue Duals....Picked up points for the Nittany Lions as part of the sixth place 400 free relay team and also swam in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 back at the Bell Grand Prix....Finished second in the 100 back in his fastest time of the year in the dual meet vs. West Chester....Was on the first place 400 free relay team, the second place 200 medley relay team and placed fourth in the 100 back in the dual meet vs. Rutgers....Swam his fastest time of the year in the 50 free and finished eighth and also finished eighth in the 100 free and was on the fourth place 200 and 400 free relay teams at the Shamrock Invitational....Picked up points for Penn State as a part of the 200 free (8th place) and 400 free (3rd place) relay teams at Big Ten Championships.

2005-06: Vincent showed flashes of promise during his freshman season as he specialized in short distance freestyle events as well as the 100 backstroke. He swam his best time in his three main events, the 50 and 100 free and the 100 back, at the Big Ten Championships. He was very successful on the several relay teams that he swam on throughout the year, as he was on one first place team and four second place teams. He also won a single individual event.
Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Finished sixth in the 50 free and was on the second place 200 free relay team at the dual meet vs. Ohio State....Placed fifth in the 200 free and was part of the third place 200 medley relay team, earning points for Penn State in both events, at the dual meet vs. Kenyon....Part of the fourth place 200 free relay team at the Shamrock Invitational....Finished sixth in the 50 free and was on the second place 400 free relay team at the dual meet vs. Rutgers....Placed third in the 200 free at the dual meet vs. St. Bonaventure....Was on the second place 200 free relay team at the dual meet at Florida....Helped pick up points for Penn State in the 200 free relay (9th place) at the Ohio State Invitational....Was part of the winning 400 medley relay team and the third place 200 medley relay team and also finished third in the 100 free in the dual meet vs. West Chester....Part of the second place 200 free relay team and the fourth place 400 medley relay team at the Auburn/Purdue/Virginia/Penn State quad meet....Won the 100 free at the dual meet vs LaSalle....Swam on the third place 400 free relay team at the dual meet vs. West Virginia.

High School: Reydams placed fifth in the 100 free at the 2005 Virginia State Championships. In 2003, he was part of the second place 200 free relay team and was fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free. A Junior National Qualifier, Reydams was 24th in the 500 free in the 2005 event in Orlando.

Personal: Reydams lists cycling, triathlons, wake-boarding, hiking and rock climbing as hobbies. He is the son of Marc and Brigitte Reydams. Vincent is a mechanical engineering major at Penn State. He was the 2003 and 2004 PVS Swimming Scholar Athlete winner and won the Marshall High School Senior Scholar Athlete Award.
