2006-07: Pat saw most of his diving in the dual meets during his junior season, with his only championship format diving coming in the Georgia Diving Invite. His best finishes of the year were a pair of third place finishes, one on each board, the one and three-meters. He also had one fourth and two fifth place finishes. 2005-06: Pat gained valuable experience last year as he competed in nearly all of Penn State's events, only most of the time his scores only counted as exhibition points, meaning they did not go toward the team scores. He spent most of the year behind Mike Alderman and Adam Pierce, who saw most of the diving action. Patrick did compile the second-best scores of his career in both the one-meter and three-meter events.
2004-05: A Junior Olympic Eastern National Qualifier in high school, Bukowski took fourth place against Rutgers in the one-meter diving event with a score of 207.00. He also took fourth place against Virginia in the one and three-meter diving events with scores of 198.38 and 195.90. At the Missouri/Iowa dual meet Bukowski finished the first day with scores of 227.47 (6th) and 210.15 (7th) on the one and three-meter diving events, respectively. Against Ohio State he came away with scores of 138.40 and 138.05 on the 1- and 3-meter diving events. High School: Under coach and father Randall Bukowski at Mercyhurst Prep in Erie, Pa., Pat was a four-time district and state qualifier. He placed third in the districts as a freshman, second as a sophomore, and won districts both as a junior and a senior. At the state meet, he placed 21st as a freshman, seventh as both a sophomore and junior, and ninth as a senior. He was a two-time first team All-Metro selection and was named the Erie Times Athlete of the Week and an Arby's Scholar Athlete of the Week. In 2004, he finished 30th in three-meter diving at the Junior National Championships. Personal: Pat was born on May 11, 1986 in Erie, Pa. He is the son of Randy Bukowski and Joyce Sparrow and has an older brother, Dan, who played football at Grove City College. Pat is majoring in psychology and business with career aspirations of becoming on I/O consultant. He lists fishing and boating as hobbies. Why I chose Penn State: "I always wanted to go to Penn State. It is a great school with a good reputation for having student-athletes."
