Lion Career:
2007: Shea played in all 13 games for the Nittany Lions in 2007, starting four of them. He had four goals and three assists for a total of seven points and added 16 ground balls. Shea had a .531 shot on goal percentage as well.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Shea was a four-year starter at Gonzaga and was captain twice. He led Gonzaga to four straight conference title games. Shea was a three-year all-conference and two-year all-metro selection while earning team MVP honors as a senior. He was recognized in 2005 by Inside Lacrosse as one of the nation's top `young middies.' Shea was a four-sport star in high school, playing basketball, football, squash and lacrosse at Gonzaga. He was MVP of the Royal Palm Tournament in Florida as well. He is the son of Dan and Beth Shea. He has two sisters, Katy and Kerry, and a brother, Kevin. Brian is a criminal law and justice major at Penn State.

COACHES VIEW:
"Brian's contributions last spring complimented others, but he will be asked to be a productive goal scorer and playmaker this year. He has great speed, quick feet and a quick release. As he learns to shoot to different locations, his shot will be very, very difficult for goalies to stop." - Coach Thiel
