Chris Mulqueen made his collegiate debut in 2007 and played in two games for the Nittany Lions. A red-shirt sophomore, Mulqueen will work hard in 2008 to have a bigger impact on Penn State's offense and could see time on attack or as a middie.
Lion Career:
2007: Mulqueen played in two games in 2007, seeing action against Colgate and St. Joseph's.
2006: Red-shirt season.
High School/Personal:
Born Sept. 30, 1986...All-State midfielder for the Quad A Cougars, also earned all-league and all-area honors...talented athlete, was also an all-area defensive back in football for Downingtown East...earned football all-league laurels at DB, WR and special teams...four-year lacrosse letterman...also lettered four times in football and twice in basketball...son of James and Donna Mulqueen...brothers, Matt and Sean, sister Lauren...A double major in both supply chain and LER at PSU.
Coach's View:
"Chris has recovered well from his ACL injury. Hopefully this spring he will fully regain the form he had prior to the injury. He has very good feet but must learn to push a bit harder to physically finish plays. Once he does this, he will be able to better break down defenses from the perimeter." - Coach Thiel
