Billy Lloyd heads into his first season of collegiate lacrosse after a prolific career at Unionville High School in suburban Philadelphia. A four-year letterman at UHS, Lloyd will look to earn some time on Penn State's attack as one of a number of talented incoming offensive players.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Lloyd lettered four years at Unionville High School where he helped guide his team to a league title as a freshman. He was a three-time first team All-League pick and was second team as a freshman. Lloyd, a three-time team captain, scored 146 goals and had 86 assists in four years for a total of 232 points. He was a three-time letterman in football as well. Lloyd, an Honor Roll student, is the son of Bill and Susan Lloyd and has a younger sister, Melissa. Enrolled in the DUS at Penn State.
COACHES VIEW:
"Billy is a very good athlete that we will have to get on the field. He can help us at either attack or midfield and only time will tell where he will fit best. Running ability, stick skills and shooting should allow him to make an impact once he gains some strength and maturity." - Coach Thiel
