Sophomore John Andress will be heading into his second season with the Nittany Lion lacrosse team, hoping to make his on-the-field debut as part of Penn State's defense. Andress is a physical player who could use his size to be a contributor on defense for the Lions.

2007:Andress did not play in any games during his freshman campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Andress was a first team All-Suburban One League at Central Bucks East. He was a two-year letterman in lacrosse, anchoring East's defense. A talented athlete, Andress also lettered twice in basketball and was a stand-out guard. He is the son of Deb and John Andress. His mother played lacrosse and his father played football at Penn State. He has two brothers, Kyle and Ryan, and two sisters, Leah and Alyssa. Plans to major in finance at Penn State.
