The two time ECAC Lacrosse League Goalie of the Year and team MVP, Drew Adams heads into this third season with Penn State already having established himself as one of the top goalies in the nation. Adams will now look to anchor a young Penn State squad that features only four` seniors and help guide Penn State back to the post-season.

LION CAREER:
2007: Adams followed up his stellar freshman campaign with another outstanding year in goal for Penn State. He earned his second straight ECAC Goalie of the Year honor and was named to the All-ECAC first team for the second season as well. Adams had a superb 7.78 goals against average, allowing only 101 goals in under 800 minutes played. He was named ECAC Defensive Player of the Week once during the season. In two years, he has an 8.01 GAA and has played in over 1,500 minutes for the Nittany Lions.
2006: Adams was superb in his rookie campaign. Starting every game for Penn State and playing all but three minutes of the season, Adams collected 164 saves and allowed only 108 goals for a 8.25 goals against average and a .603 save percentage. Adams GAA was fifth in the conference but his save percentage was second. He was honored by the ECAC as both the ECAC Rookie of the Year and the ECAC Goalie of the Year. A first team All-ECAC pick, Adams was tapped an Honorable Mention All-American by the USILA. He won the Friends' team MVP Award.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Born August 19, 1986...two-time first team all-state selection (junior and senior years)...first team All-American as a senior...two-time All-Central League pick...2005 Philadelphia Inquirer Player of the Year and Springfield Male Athlete of the Year...helped guide SHS to a combined 58-20 record over four years...led Springfield to league title as a senior...son of Steve and Barb Adams...two brothers, Brian and Steven, and one sister, Aly...Communications major at PSU.
