Two-year starter James Moody will head into his third season with Penn State looking to earn a return trip to nationals. The talented Colorado-native has nearly 60 wins in two seasons with Penn State and is one of its most experienced returning fencers.

LION CAREER: 2006-07: Moody posted a 30-16 dual match record last year and claimed the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional title.

2005-06: Moody posted a solid 29-14 record as a rookie and qualified for nationals after a ninth-place finish at regionals. Moody went on to place 19th at the NCAA Championships in Houston.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Moody graduated from Boulder High School in Boulder, Colo. He fenced for coach Gary Copeland's Northern Colorado Fencers club.
