A good perimeter shooter with a nose for the ball on the offensive glass, King is one of two junior college transfers to join the Nittany Lions for 2007-08 and one of three to enter Penn State under coach Ed DeChellis...He will provide Penn State with another long and athletic wing that can run the floor, defend on the perimeter and provide the depth to keep the Nittany Lions' legs fresh.

A two-year player at Tyler Junior College for coach Mike Marquis...Averaged 10.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game as a sophomore (2006-07) for a Tyler team that posted an 18-12 record and reached the quarterfinals of the Region XIV Tournament... made 54 three pointers while shooting 36 percent from arc and 44 percent from the floor...posted a pair of career high 21-point outings and recorded a double-double in eight of his last 12 games on the season...
