A finalist for Kentucky Mr. Basketball honors, Brooks, who turned 18 in June, is a highly skilled perimeter shooter, passer and ball handler with a long and agile 6-8 frame and has the potential to be a standout in Penn State blue and white...Brooks emerged on the national recruiting stage following his junior season in high school and has been ranked among the top 100 recruits by several publications...He will look to add size and strength to his 190-pound frame and 6-11 3/4 wing span in the weight room, but possesses the skills and athleticism to earn a spot in the rotation immediately.
