Scottsdale CC (Freshman/Sophomore): Pitched for two years at Scottsdale Community College, which plays in a wooden bat conference....Helped lead the team to a 34-20 record as a freshman and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 27th round of the 2006 MLB Draft....Returned for a his sophomore season and compiled a regular season record of 8-2 with a 1.90 ERA in 72 innings of work....Struck out 76 and set the school record for career strikeouts....Named first team All-Conference, first team All-Region and a first team JUCO All-American as he helped lead the team to a conference championship, a regional championship and a third place finish at nationals with a 43-22 record.
