North Mecklenburg HS: Earned three varsity letters at North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, N.C....As a senior, helped lead the team to a 24-4 record and a conference championship, going undefeated in conference play....Was named MELA 6 All-Conference as both a junior and a senior....Team also went 19-6 as a junior and 20-5 as a sophomore....Was the recipient of the Jimmy K. Poole Student-Athlete Scholarship.
